Kasabian played an intimate set to just 180 fans this afternoon at HMV on Oxford Street. Showcasing some of their new tracks from their fifth album ’48:13’, Kasabian treated the lucky few to stripped down, acoustic versions of some of the new songs.
The gig was a pronounced success, despite the sticky start, with the band making to the stage only to discover that their guitars weren’t tuned. Frontman Tom Meighan joked around with the audience, making fun of their rodeo, Tim. The band then departed the stage, returning later on when the guitars were actually tuned.
For fans unable to attend, the entire performance can be viewed exclusively on Transmitter TV.
